It's a... GIRL!

In case you're not on facebook, or haven't heard through the grapevine yesterday, you read right, we're having a little GIRL!

Our ultrasound was yesterday and it took FOREVER.  Maybe Bennett's took that long and I just don't remember, or maybe our tech this time was less experienced and it took her longer to get everything she needed.  Or maybe, as Justin seemed to think, she spent some of the time just "looking around for fun."  I'm not sure what it was, but we were there for more than an hour.  I might post a cute profile picture at some point, but the pictures we got this time around weren't great, and they don't do a 3D one for free there either (we were spoiled with Bennett, I guess).  So most of the pictures of our sweet little one's face look like... well, to be honest, they look like this:

Thank heavens we're pretty confident she'll outgrow that stage.

To make an already stellar day even better, we were finally able to pick up a rug we had ordered for our front room.  We have been wanting a rug for the hardwood floors ever since we moved.  I wanted one for pretty-ness sake, and Justin wanted one because when we moved here and he realized he couldn't wrestle with Bennett on the floor down here, he was pretty devastated.  I do wish it was one foot wider, but hey, we got it as a remnant and for what we were willing to pay for a rug right now, it will be perfect.

The sun never came out today, so no Pottery Barn-worthy photographs.  Ok, let's be honest, this would never be in a PB catalog, but we like it anyway.  And with our scrimping on the rug, I've saved enough to get a really lovely ottoman.  If I can ever find one I like (I've been looking for 5 months and haven't settled on anything yet that really fits this small space).  Feel free to send any ottoman ideas my way.
